As the fireplace runs the heated water is fed into the heat distribution system and the hot water storage tank. The oil or gas burner automatically shut down while the entire house is now heated by the fireplace - and not only the room where it is located. Two more aspects: the fireplace`s location won`t become overheated by immoderate radiant heat. And - no air circulation means no dust dispersion.In case the fire is not sufficient anymore, either the hot water storage tank (buffer storage) or the regular boiler takes over the heating.
